Ronaldo Has His Worst FIFA Rating In 12 Years After Joining Al-Nassr

Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo’s FIFA 23 rating has been slashed to its lowest in 12 years after he joined the Al Nassr club, a Saudi Arabian football club.

According to a report published by Sport Bible, Ronaldo’s FIFA 23 rating is currently 88. Earlier, his base rating in FIFA 23 was 90. His dribbling score came down from 84 to 81 and his stamina rating dropped from 74 to 70. Ronaldo’s overall rating has now dropped below 90 for the first time in 12 years. He recorded his worst FIFA rating of 87 in 2007.

Ronaldo was unveiled as an Al-Nassr player at Al Nassr’s Mrsool Park stadium in Riyadh, the Saudi Arabian capital, at 7 pm local time on Tuesday. During a press conference, the footballer said, “I feel so proud to make this big decision in my life. In Europe, my work is done. I’m grateful Al Nassr has given me this opportunity. I had many opportunities but I gave my word to this club.” The 37-year-old footballer said that he was impressed with the Al-Nassr club's vision.

Ronaldo and the Al-Nassr club signed the agreement for about 214 million dollars. Ronaldo became the highest–paid athlete ever with the signing of this deal. Ronaldo would play for the Al-Nassr club until June 2025 under the agreement.

Ronaldo joined the Saudi club after he left the British club Manchester United. When the footballer lashed out at Manchester United during an interview, the Manchester United club officials decided to terminate Ronaldo’s contract.

Earlier, Ronaldo received an offer from a different Saudi club, Al Hilal, worth $370 million. However, he turned down the offer to stay with Manchester United. Later on, he decided to leave Manchester United over disputes with the officials.

He arrived in the Saudi Arabian capital with a big team of assistants on Monday.
