Iran is prepared to provide Syria with the newest defense weaponry

The newest defensive weaponry might be given to the Syrian armed forces, according to the defense minister of Iran, who made the announcement on Monday. After speaking with General Ali Abbas of Syria last week in Damascus, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani made the remark.

According to Iran's IRNA, Ashtiani stated, "The time has come for reconstruction and prosperity in Syria in various fields," referring to Iran's "defence diplomacy efforts" during the Moscow quadripartite summit to achieve security stability.

Iran is prepared to work with the Syrian Arab Republic, the minister emphasized. In order to improve the security of the Syrian people, construct multilateral defense infrastructure, and boost Syria's arsenal, this will include establishing factories and starting manufacturing lines for key defense items.

In response, Abbas stated, “With the backing of our Iranian brothers, Syria's security and stability have been created. Syria will be better prepared to combat terrorism as one of its axes of resistance if its defenses are strengthened.”
