How Coronavirus Has Led To Surge Of Certain Jobs

It is not that everyone is out of hope of jobs, but there are some markets that are still taking in working professionals in large numbers. The best places to look for work are at health-care companies, convenience stores, and meal-kit makers. Runners and workers here are in high demand, worldwide.

While people are in lockdowns, everyone is trying to source groceries and essentials through online portals. There are companies that are looking for delivery staff, which has been taken through four levels of sanitization to ensure no transfer of virus on deliveries.
On the flip side, more than three million people have said to have filled in details for unemployment benefits in the US, the worst-hit country now, that is showing the second largest number of infected cases after China.

Both Amazon and Walmart have reported surging online demands. They are now employ a workforce of 100,000 warehouse and delivery workers to meet the demand.

There is also demand for pre-cooked meals, meal kits, etc in large numbers. Most western countries, where both parents are working, depend heavily on pre-cooked meal take-away or kit options.  Blue Apron Holdings also shared with the media that they are making allowances for the surging demand.
They have some 300 plus jobs to be filled in.  This is a good opportunity for people who have been displaced from the Food & Beverages industry.

Also in demand are, home delivery options for pet-food and cleaning products where manufacturers are on the lookout for logistics and distribution staffers. There is also a demand for drivers and movers across the globe. Additionally, job hiring is coming with certain perks, though at very testing personal times, where most of these workers have chances of being exposed to virus infection.

Walmart and Target Corporation, for example, have decided to raise wages and offering bonuses to front-line workers. Other companies are offering additional sick-leave benefits to compensate staffers, should they become ill.

Companies will have to consistently monitor hygiene and sanitization factors carefully; owing to the fact that the US has reported the highest number of virus-infected cases recently.
