Joramco and Air Europa ink new maintenance contract

 

Air Europa, the third-largest carrier in Spain, has made its debut at Joramco, the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) provider and engineering division of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), based in Amman.

Joramco will execaute C inspections on four B787 aircraft from nose to tail as part of the new maintenance agreement with Air Europa. This most recent partnership began earlier in February and is expected to last until May of this year.

The CEO of Joramco, Fraser Currie, commented on the event, saying, "We at Joramco are thrilled to announce that for the first time, we will be undertaking heavy checks on the fleet of Air Europa. While this move is a part of our aim to increase our presence in Europe and provide high-quality services for the next generation of aircraft, we are confident that this is the start of a long-term partnership.
