European nations come together to eliminate Muslim Brotherhood
With the growing level of violence and infiltration in Europe, the European nations have come together to eliminate the extremist terrorist group the Muslim Brotherhood. Austria is the recent one to join the list with its hard calls against the extremism spreading through the nation.
Recently the European nation has passed an
anti-terror law which directly targets organizations like the Muslim
Brotherhood and the reason behind this step was to ensure the safety of the
nation especially after the deadly terror attack last year. The law allows the
Austrian government to increase the surveillance on the activities by these
groups.
The country has started clamping down the Muslim
Brotherhood by targeting the organizations with respect to its activities so
that it can make efforts towards increasing tourism after the attack while also
making the nation a more secure place for the the Austrian nationals.
Many of the European countries had identifies the
Muslim Brotherhood as an extremist group that is creating disturbance in the
region. France is one of the most active members in this initiative.
The French president Emmanuel Macron had made it very
clear after the killing of Samuel Patty that he will not be tolerating any kind
of extremism and despite what Brotherhood preaches, it is responsible for many
of the violent activities in Lebanon also extending to European countries.
The Brotherhood is supported by Iran and funded by
Qatar. Such strong backing is making it stronger day by day and the connections
it has already formed in European countries through religious places is proving
to be a huge threat for the people. Qatar is sending funds to huge donations
which are supposedly charity organizations or mosques but in reality are
operating units of the dangerous group.
Denmark had conducted research last year to gather
information about the spread of terrorisms in the country and reports revealed
that many mosques were using the name of religion in order to create funding
for the group. The Danish government closed down many of the mosques after the
report.
