Pompeo Warns Iran Against Decisive Action

Iran is got another card up its sleeve as it continues to retaliate to the American pressure over fresh sanctions.  Confirmed reports state that Iran’s proxies have recently conducted several attacks against Iraqi bases where security forces are co-located with U.S. and International Coalition personnel.  The Trump government will take ‘decisive’ action if Iran does not mend its ways, is a message that the US State Secretary Mike Pompeo has shared with the media.

Iran’s proxies have been firing rockets posing a threat to the safety of American and allied service members. Iran has said to have armed and funded Shiite militias in Iraq. The recent spate of attacks on protesting civilians has also been attributed to Iranian led military personnel dressed and covered in black clothes and face masks. Bombs and rocket launchers were fired on innocent silent protestors that are determined to oust the corrupt Iraqi cabinet that has been influenced by Iran.

Also, during the U.S. occupation of Iraq, Iranian-backed militias killed hundreds of U.S. troops, according to U.S. intelligence reports.

It is being suspected that the recent movement of short-range missile systems into Iraqi pockets by Iran, could be a close coincidence to the recent increase in rocket attacks, especially on security forces of the counterterrorism squad, that also comprise of US forces.
