Sheikh Mohammed touched by UAE residents singing national anthem
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed says he shed a tear after he saw a video where residents of the UAE sing the national anthem to greet those fighting the COVID-19.
This is a video recording of thousands of residents who applauded to doctors, police, cleaners, volunteers and municipal workers who have been tirelessly serving the nation in the past few weeks.
Sheikh Mohammed said that he feels a strong connection with each of the inhabitants of the UAE.
“Many residents of social networks sing our national anthem, and I want to admit to all viewers that when I heard you, God, I shed a tear,” he said in a video posted on the Internet.
Sheikh Mohamed promised every resident of the country to ensure security.
He assured them that the country was united in the fight against the virus.
The UAE is fully prepared to fight the spread of the virus; the state is taking all possible measures to protect its inhabitants. Disinfection of cities is being carried out, quick virus testing centers are being created. The state supports those at risk, and also supports those who may be affected by measures taken to combat the virus.
Sheikh Mohamed assured that the country has enough food and medicine for everyone and the state will cope and protect its citizens in such difficult times.
