India part of the list of places which are best to visit/stay during the pandemic

For a country that witnessed one of the worst pandemic attacks, India is doing fairly well at regaining its position in calling for people to enjoy their stay or come for vacation. The changes or the improvement was noticed when the country saw improvement in its ranking in the list prepared by Bloomberg, where it jumped 19 spots.

The list which is titled as Bloomberg’s Covid Resilience Ranking of the best and worst places to be while the pandemic is in full shape and it revealed that India has seen a jump of 19 spots which is contradictory to its position during the peak time and situation of the pandemic.

Not to forget that the country had the fastest outbreak this year after it relaxed the lockdown measures. But due to rigorous efforts in putting safety and healthcare in line, the country has finally ranked 26th in the monthly snapshot by the publication.

This describes the efforts that went behind handling the pandemic and its spread, especially representing the way with which the situation is being handled in the social and economic department. The assessment was based out of 12 parameters where all of them assess 53 major economies of the world.

The improvement that India showed was surely due to the significant increase in tough measures against the Covid-19 pandemic but also due to its rapid growth in the economic scale. The infections also dropped by a large margin and that somehow contributed to a safer plateau for people.

As far as the status of vaccination is considered, India has a sluggish start but it is important to note that later on the speed with which the inoculation was done, it compensated with the slow start. The country has now administered more than a billion doses.
