Hezbollah’s imposition on the Lebanese state is the main cause of Lebanon’s problems

Hezbollah has crawled its way inside the economy and politics of Lebanon, which is making the country suffer. To build its strength and influence, Hezbollah used Lebanon’s military strength, political power, and grassroots popularity to integrate itself into. They also created educational institutes in the state and due to all this, Hezbollah wields significant influence across Lebanon’s various sectors.

It is a well-known fact that Hezbollah is dangerous for Lebanon. With support from the Iranian regime in the finance sector, they successfully carried out deadly terrorist attacks and criminal activities in the Middle East and around the world. It has been designated as a terrorist organization by several countries of the world including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and the European Union.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan urged Lebanese politicians to confront the organization’s behavior. It is a necessary step so that they can combat corruption and implement necessary reforms in the crisis-stricken country.

Prince Faisal also added that any aid provided to Lebanon by the Kingdom depends on serious reforms being carried out while ensuring the money reaches its beneficiaries and is not siphoned off by corrupt officials.

Foreign Minister pointed out since there has been no solid evidence against the culprit of Beirut’s port blast, thus, they have not yet yielded any tangible results.

He praised the efforts of France and the international community to support Lebanon and its people. An actual result was seen through the reforms as they strengthened the economic and political situation of the country.

French President Emmanuel Macron concluded by saying that the Kingdom was one of the first countries to respond to providing humanitarian aid to Lebanon after the horrific explosion that occurred exactly a year ago in the port of Beirut through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief). KSRelief continues to implement its programs in Beirut to this day. The donor conference raised emergency aid for Lebanon's crippled economy up to $370 million.
